Who we share your data with

ATDC accepts resumes on this database to share with its Portfolio Companies and partners. These employers are third parties and not Georgia Tech employees, and have access to the resumes for the sole purpose of identifying and connecting with candidates for possible employment and/or internship opportunities. When engaging with employers, please review their privacy statements for information on their own policies.

When creating an account, candidates and employers share personal information including their email address, name, phone number, and relevant employment information. Candidates agree that ATDC may provide their profile and resume containing personally identifiable information to ATDC Portfolio Companies and partners for the purpose of review for prospective employment and/or internship opportunities. Employers agree to utilize the site solely on behalf of their member company, and that candidate materials on the site may not be republished, rewritten, or redistributed publicly or beyond their company.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

This site uses Google Analytics to track usage. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This information is used in the aggregate to monitor and enhance our web pages. It is not used to track the usage patterns of individual users. You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, hide, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Inactive accounts are hidden after six months, and deleted after two years.
